Search for “Book” and choose the same file as me. Open Sims 4 Studio again and click on Create 3D mesh. Save your file and close or minimize Blender. Once you done this, they will no longer move and can be turned into an object. Then choose and click on “rig” (3).įinally, click Apply to lock the CAS-items into place. Now, open the wrench (1) and click on the button under Object: (2). Do NOT delete the rig named “rig” as that one is the pose. When you have done that, you can delete the rigs named rig.001, rig.002 and rig.003. Do this by Shift-clicking them all, either on the mesh (3d-model) or the list to the right (1) followed by clicking the Join-button to the left (2). If the Append-button is greyed out, just click the scene button which I marked and choose a new scene. Pose the rig into the pose you want your deco sim to have. I will use a blank clip in this tutorial. You can either export a blank clip or an animation made by EA. Save is as whatever and export the rig or rigs you need. Go back to the main menu of Sims 4 studio and click the animations-tab. Once you’ve copied the clothes onto the diffuse, save it and name is something you’ll remember and place in the same folder as the meshes. Then copy all the clothing pieces onto the diffuse. Open your image-editing program and open all the image-files you exported earlier. You do not need to export the hair or earrings, as it is already chosen and connected to your sim’s 3D-model. Repeat for ever item you want on your deco sim, including clothes and accessories. Now it’s time to turn the sim into an object. You will not need the specular in this case, as the object we will use as a base is non-shiny to begin with. The object file is the Sim’s 3d model, the diffuse is its texture, and the specular its shine. Once you exported the sim, you’ll have an object file (1), a diffuse-file (2) and a specular-file (3). Here you can see why I recommended why you should name them A A, as they appear at the top of the list of sims. Please note that this may take a while, and that is totally normal. Save the sim as an OBJ (Object) and place them in your preferred folder. It usually fixes the problem for me.įind the sim you just made and choose which outfit you want to export. If you have trouble opening the program, move the file I marked into a different folder within the same harddrive. Once you saved your game, open TS4 SimRipper. You do not have to move the sim/sims onto a lot, just save your game before continuing. I will use the bathing suit version in this tutorial. If you choose the clothes now, it will make step 4 a little faster, but not by a lot. The only thing that is important in this step is the head,as the rest can be changed later.
